The stable block at Mount Edgcumbe has been converted beautifully into the Barrow Centre for visitors to meet craftspeople in their workshops, to shop for unique and special pieces, to get involved in various activities and to even have a body treatment. The Stables Cafe offers delicious meals and snacks. The Barrow Centre is near the house and is open all year round. You can park nearby.
Kate Williams Weaving studio and shop is upstairs at the Barrow Centre in a room with a fantastic view of the park. Usually you will find Kate at one of the looms making. In shop are many of Kate’s pieces, yarn-related craft items, hand-crafted jewellery and the cutest textiles there are...the Jellycats.
